3. Fried Foods are Bad

If you want to lose weight fast, you need to avoid fried foods completely. Even if you drain or soak off the oil, it’s within the food. To lose weight quickly take fried food out of your diet.

4. Don’t Skip Meals

This is one of the worst things you can do while trying to lose weight quickly. If you skip meals, you will actually gain weight. Eat a minimum of four to six meals a day.

5. Only Fresh Fruit Juice

We all know how important it is to drink plenty of water but sometimes we have a craving for something other than water. In that case, you should choose fresh fruit juice that contains no added sweeteners, which translate to calories.

Fresh veggies contain the nutrients you need and they offer important fiber to the diet. They make great snack foods and can quickly take care of hunger pangs.

8. No Between Meal Snacks

Do not fall into the habit of snacks between meals. This is a common problem for people on the move. They get hungry and grab whatever junk food is nearest to take away the hunger pains. These are not only calories you don’t need or want; there is also a great deal of fat in these snack foods. Just eliminating junk food snacks and soda can easily lead to a 2 to 3 pound reduction a month, without doing anything else.

9. Your Diet Should Be Made Up of 30% Protein

If you are going to build muscle, you need protein. Muscle burns fat and so you’ve got a winning situation here.

10. Eat Smart

When you lose weight while dieting, you lose muscle and fat. Exercise will preserve your muscle and build new muscle. You need to eat healthy and incorporate a vigorous exercise regime into your daily life. That will build muscle and you can watch the fat shrink away.

The Right Foods to Build Your Muscles

If you want to build your muscles, you are going to have to feed them, and not just any food – the right foods. Proteins are key to building your muscles. This is why bodybuilders use protein shakes to bulk up. But don’t ignore carbs, because they are also important to building muscles.

The key to losing weight and building muscles quickly is to eat a balanced diet. You should be taking in two grams of protein per kilogram of body weight if you are following a serious exercise regime, however if you are not exercising you should be taking in no more than .8 grams per kilogram of body weight.

You also need to make better food choices – healthier choices mean you’ll have more energy and feel fuller.

Building Muscle

You aren’t going to bulk up overnight. If that’s your goal and you put the time in you’ll see the result in a few weeks, without any magic potions or pills. Start slow, with weights you are comfortable working with. Always do your exercises properly. Match your goals and your training to get the results you expect.

There you have it. There’s really no big secret. The right mix of diet and exercise and you’ll be toned and lighter in no time at all. You really can lose weight and build muscle fast.

Healthy Eating – Your Future is Now

Sometimes, it seems impossible to make plans for the future, especially if you are insecure and find that when you do make plans, they never turn out quite how you expect them to. This can create a sense of insecurity and anxiety in a person that can be difficult to overcome. Whether you want to succeed or not, these seeds of doubt can plant themselves in your mind and prevent you from doing what it is that you want to do the most.

When it comes to your future, healthy eating is the most basic building block that will help you to build yourself up into something you voice dreamed of being. If you are not nourishing your body now, in the future, you are likely to suffer for it. You want to suffer emotionally or mentally. You will suffer very physically. Without the proper vitamins and minerals in the body, you will ultimately find yourself suffering from debilitating diseases that could easily have been avoided if you were only more conscientious about the foods that you put into your body.

healthy eating

It can be surprisingly easy to live with malnutrition. You don’t always realize that you are lacking in essential vitamins and minerals until you are suffering the consequences for it. Sometimes, you can go to a doctor and they can administer you the vitamins that you are deficient in so that you can begin to heal properly from it, but sometimes, that stops being an option.

Prevention is the most important thing that you can do when it comes to diseases. Sometimes, you will never be able to cure what it is that your neglect has introduced into your life. And when the day comes that you are suffering for your mistakes, you will feel them extremely acutely. Everybody needs to pay close attention to what they’re putting in their bodies right now, because your future is now.

Something that can help you is looking into ways that your body needs to be nourished. Look into your body mass index and see what it is that you should be receiving every day nutritionally. Start taking multivitamins daily just to make sure that you are never lacking in the most essential nutrients and minerals. This is especially important if you are attempting to survive on a diet of processed foods and highly sugary beverages that make it almost impossible to lose weight.

If obesity is difficult enough for you to deal with, imagine finding yourself being diagnosed with cancer in the future because of processed food choices that you have made over healthier alternatives. These are issues that can sometimes be avoided, and food can also act as medicine as much is prevention. If you want to be healthy and happy, and you see yourself having a bright future, consider your eating habits. Makes good choices in the present because your future is being built on every choice you make today.

Build The Perfect Male Physique – Gain Muscle Lose Fat Quickly

How would you like to build the perfect male physique? Would you like to gain muscle and lose fat quickly? Then you’ve come to the right place. If you want to develop bigger muscles and get more ripped. If you want to develop a six pack or if you want to get rid of that extra fat you need two things from your body. Sound confusing? It’s really not.

If you want to lose a lot of fat and gain a lot of muscle all at once it can be difficult. That’s because they are at opposite ends of the scale. If you want to build new muscle your body will require additional energy, which means more food and more calories. To lose fat you need to eat less and that means fewer calories. So how can you do both.

lose fat

In the early stages of building muscle and losing fat there’s a bit of a balancing act. It starts by eating right. You will need to increase your calories to develop muscles. Increase your protein and decrease the fat in your diet. To maintain that muscle will take more energy and that means fat will be burned. In addition if you’ve lowered your caloric intake you’ll see even quicker results.

What many don’t know is that the more muscular you become the harder it gets to lose fat. But don’t despair. It’s all in the balance. On average men will gain approx. 9 pounds of muscle for every 16 pounds of fat. In the earliest stages you’ll lose fat and gain muscle quicker. As you reach your body’s upper limits your success will begin to decline.

If you’ve been fit before it will be much easier to lose fat and build muscles. Muscles have a memory and even if you’ve let them get out of shape they’ll quickly fall back to their muscle memory if you decide to get back in shape. This is great news!

To gain muscle and lose fat quickly spend the first 5 weeks building muscle and then the next 3 or so weeks losing fat. There are two methods that work well for achieving your goals.

The Bracketing Method

You cycle your calorie intake and carb intake through the week depending on the kind of training you are doing.

The Sawtooth Method

This method involves losing fat and gaining muscle until you reach a body fat percentage you previously determined.

By the end of the 8 week period you’ll be leaner, have less body fat, and look fantastic!

The Standard American Diet Dos and Don’ts

In America today, the typical diet that most Americans consume daily is very unhealthy. The rest of the world has a nickname for it, which is the SAD diet. This stands for the standard American diet, and the standard American diet is one of the most dangerous lifestyle choices that a person can make.

First of all, it is chock full of red meat and dairy, which are absolutely fabulous when it comes to clogging your arteries and causing hypertension in the body. This might not be so bad if the red meat was grass fed, but unfortunately, many of the cows that are ingested in North America are treated with growth hormones and other chemicals that can leach into the meat and cause major problems in the human body.

american diet

The meat is contaminated by carcinogenic chemicals that are distributed to the cows to try to keep them growing at an accelerated rate, as well as to keep them free from diseases that could spread among the other cattle.

Another issue with the standard American diet is processed foods. Processed foods are highly available in North America, and often considered a staple food for the daily diet. The issue with this is that these foods lack fiber and have a tendency to be excessively high in saturated fats and sugars. Not to mention, the highly dangerous salt content. The standard American diet consists of foods that make it difficult to lose weight, especially those processed foods which contain high fructose corn syrup.

High fructose corn syrup is something that should be avoided at all costs. It sticks in the body and makes it nearly impossible to lose weight. Not only that, but it is basically pure sugar and it packs on the pounds like nothing else.

If you want to indulge in a standard American diet, there are some decent things that you could do. Try to eat fruits and vegetables with every meal. Don’t allow yourself to skip a meal that doesn’t have something green or another color of the natural food rainbow in it. If you need to have your meat, unit lean, and try to find grass fed beef to consume. Instead of eating white flour buns, look for whole flour alternatives. Whole-wheat has far more fiber and is much more nourishing for the body.

You want to be able to consume foods that are high in fiber, because not only do they help you feel full and digest things better so that you can eliminate the toxins from your body that cause you issues, but it also helps you to lose weight. Without fiber in your diet, you become fatter much faster, and it can become a very difficult trend to break out of.

As a rule, avoid the standard American diet if possible, but if you can’t, make sure that you are implementing changes that make it work for you. You’ll be glad you did, if not now, then in the future when you are not suffering from the same issues that other people who have lived off the standard American diet are dealing with.

How To Encourage Yourself To Take On New Activities/Challenges

Almost everyone gets a sense of nervousness when they take on a new activity or challenge; some may see it as more a sense of excitement, while others see it as more a sense of anxiety or dread. This latter group may attempt to avoid new activities or challenges as much as possible, but doing that will actually hinder this group in its ability to achieve the greatness they can truly achieve because it prevents them from attaining new skills, new experiences, and a new sense of self-esteem and self-confidence from taking on that activity or challenge.

Therefore, if you are part of that latter group and try to avoid taking on new activities or challenges, how do you encourage yourself to do so so that you can grow as an individual and achieve your greatest potential?

One thing you can do is to take a deep breath and relax. Don’t fret over the new activity or challenge and think that you have to do it perfectly or else something bad is going to happen. Most mistakes are forgivable, especially when you are trying something new and have never done such an activity before. Mistakes can and should be considered as “learning tools” that enable you to learn more about yourself, gain new skills and experience, and essentially help you move closer to achieving your best potential possible.

The second thing you can do is to look upon the new activity or challenge as something fun to test yourself, sort of like a competition. See how well you do the activity or challenge, then reward yourself afterward for the effort you put in, even if you didn’t do the activity or challenge perfectly or as well as you expected. By going through the experience, you will grow as an individual and enable yourself to reach your greatest potential possible.

The third thing you can do is to see the new activity or challenge as a “break” from the norm. You know you can do specific things in your field/industry well; now, you get to see what you can do with tasks or activities that are not in your everyday activities.

See the new activity or challenge as a “vacation” from the ordinary, everyday activities and enjoy the experience. By seeing this new activity or challenge as a “vacation” or respite from the usual, you’ll enjoy the experience more, want to take on more activities or challenges more often, and be able to grow more as an individual and reach your best potential and greatness.

Why Our Diets Are Badly Failing Us and What We Can Do About It

Right now, there’s a good chance that your diet is woefully inadequate when it comes to ensuring you are in the best possible health. In fact, there’s a good chance that your diet may be killing you.

And what is the culprit here? The answer is empty calories and processed foods.

diet

These days, a huge proportion of what we eat is ready prepared and ‘processed’. That means that it has spent a lot of time in a factory and thus bears little resemblance to what the ingredients originally looked like.

A good example is a bag of crisps, which doesn’t tend to have much potato left in it at all. Chocolate is made from a cocoa bean but the rest is purely processed. And ready made lasagne will have had all the goodness fried out of it and a ton of salt, sugar and bad fats added to try and keep it preserved.

All this means that you’re getting calories from your diet – calories that will provide you with energy and make you gain weight – but no nutrition.

Why We Need Nutrition

It is a mistake to think of food as fuel. Calories are fuel and they happen to be in our food. But food is more than that.

Apart from also being a social event and a hobby, food should also be a source of raw materials. The saying that you ‘are what you eat’ is literally true and when you eat any meal, your body will break it down into its constituent parts and then reassemble those parts in order to build your muscle, create enzymes and hormones and even produce neurotransmitters (the chemicals that make our brain work).

When you don’t get these things, you’ll find yourself feeling considerably worse. If you don’t get enough vitamin C for example, then your immune system won’t be able to perform at its best and you’ll be much more likely to get ill. Worse, vitamin C is also crucial for helping you to produce serotonin. Take that away and your mood will plummet. It also helps us sleep!

Similarly, when you don’t get enough omega 3 fatty acid, it can cause inflammation – this makes your joints hurt, it creates brain fog and it can lead to illness.

A lack of amino acid will mean that your muscles are weaker and smaller. And it will result in your skin looking grey and your nails being brittle.

The short term issues are worthy of a lot of concern but more worrying still is what this does to your health in the long term. The damage here is cumulative and in the end you will be more likely to suffer with a range of diseases.

What to do About It

The answer is to stop thinking of food as fuel and to instead think about the quality of the raw materials you’re putting into your system. Find ways to get more nutrition food in your diet -even if that means just adding a smoothie into your routine!

How Fear Stops You From Achieving Greatness

To achieve greatness, you have to be willing to grow as an individual and improve yourself. In order to grow as an individual and improve yourself, you must be willing to expand your skill set and be willing to have many experiences that can improve this skill set.

This means that you cannot be afraid to challenge yourself, take reasonable risks, and stepping outside of your “comfort zone.” If you are fearful, you will not reach the greatness you are capable of achieving.

greatness

Many people are fearful and hesitant to step outside of their “comfort zones,” preferring to do things that they are familiar with. They prefer to do activities and stay in fields that they are comfortable in, that they know they do well in. Few people prefer to step outside of those zones to try something new, handle new, etc. for a few reasons. One reason is because they fear they will not do well with the new activity or challenge.

A second reason is fear of embarrassment because other people may see them struggle with this new activity or challenge. A third reason is that they fear ridicule from people because they struggle with this new activity or challenge.

Fearing taking on new challenges or activities for any of the above reasons or any similar reasons only keeps you from achieving the greatness you are capable of achieving. By not challenging yourself with new tasks and challenges, you will be unable to grow as an individual because you will not learn any new skills to add your skill set. You will continue to excel and be productive in the skills you know, but you won’t expand your skill set to grow as an individual and possibly be even more productive and capable than you currently realize.

This is a key reason why you won’t achieve the greatness you are capable of; you won’t even know if you’ll find a better skill you can use to achieve greater goals and accomplishments if you don’t take on new tasks and challenges.

Therefore, fear can stop you from achieving greatness because it hinders your growth as an individual and prevents you from learning more about yourself and increasing your skill set and abilities to handle various tasks and challenges. By being willing to overcome that fear and challenging yourself with new tasks and challenges that get you out of your “comfort zone,” you can grow as an individual and be able to achieve the greatness you are capable of achieving.
