Fat Burn Mantra – PART 2

February 23, 2021/in Blog

To Successfully Shed Fat, First Shed Your Negative Thinking!

Research shows that one of the many important factors that influence weight loss is your attitude – whether you believe you can do it and if it is worth doing. It’s a simple theory – what you think will affect how you feel, and in turn the actions you take.

Similar to how conventional medications often treat symptoms of disease without addressing the cause, weight loss diets often address your weight without addressing what has led you to be overweight. Being overweight is not as simple as eating too much or moving too less – there’s an underlying combination of subconscious conditioning, self-worth issues, emotional difficulties and more.

Nutritionist Long Beach CAYou might be able to lose a couple of pounds with solely changing your diet and doing exercises, but it won’t last long as symptom-specific diets will only be temporarily effective. By addressing the underlying psychological cause that led you to being overweight while applying balanced diet and exercise will ensure you a long-lasting weight loss.
Follow these life-changing mantras that could help you eliminate any sort of destructive thoughts that sabotage your body weight.
1. Other’s opinions don’t matter as long as I love my body
Eliminate the fear of other’s opinions. When we despise how we look and how we feel, our bodies reflect and adopt to these ideas. Due to the environmental conditions, many want to impress and live up to other people’s expectations – it’s all because of other’s opinions. But loving yourself must come first if weight loss efforts are to be effective. Shed your fears. Learn to love your own body and each small change that occurs to it through your dieting effort.
2. Steady and slow, learn as you go. Lose too fast, it may not last. A little goes a long way
Focus on progress over perfection because no perfections come along without long-term progression. Be patient and work with a well-planned diet for a long run. Your body takes time to adjust to all the changes. Diet done in a right way will ensure your body to be accustomed to the changes and the effects are more lasting.
3. I may not be where I want to be, but I’m better than where I was

“I don’t have enough time; 15 minutes of workout won’t make a difference” – sounds familiar? This is the kind of statement that gives yourself permission to veer from the healthy habits that help you lose weight. Don’t find excuses, a tiny effort done is always better than none. 15 minutes each day rather than none will still make a change to your body regardless of how significant it is. Always remember that each small step taken is a step nearer to your goal. Never underestimate yourself.

Fat Burn Mantra – Part 1

If Your Body Is A Car, Your Mind Is The Engine

Your mindset drives your body, it fuels your will and determination to work towards your goal. It can be difficult to achieve and maintain your ideal body shape and weight. It takes more than just healthy eating and regular exercise. A positive and motivated mindset is essential to keep you going. If you tell yourself negative things – “This is so hard, I can’t do this.” You’re not going to make it far. But if you encourage yourself with thoughts like “I can do this. Nothing can stop me. I’m going to lose 5 pounds by the end of the week” – you’re motivated to achieve your diet goals. Mindsets are assumptions or beliefs you establish to govern your behavior and choices.

There are two types of mindset: fixed and growth oriented.

People with a fixed mindset think of the absolutes and allow little to no room for possibilities. They are fixated to their definite opinion and would not budge from that framed mindset. When faced with challenges, they tend to take the easy way out to avoid failure and embarrassment.

This is a psychological principle known as self-handicapping. People with a growth mindset strongly believe in possibilities. They’re open minded, willing to adopt new ideas and learn to improve. They take on challenges even at the risk of failing. They are open to embrace failure because they know they can learn from it.
Below are some common mantras (a.k.a slogan or motto) that distinctly describe the two mindsets:

    Fixed Mindset

• When I fail, I’m no good
• I’m either good at it, or I’m not
• When I’m frustrated, I give up
• My abilities determine everything

    Growth Mindset

• When I fail, I learn
• I can learn anything I want to
• When I’m frustrated, I persevere
• My effort and attitude determine everything

Fat BurnStart cultivating a growth mindset and practice these mantras and your diet plan will work much easier with more satisfying results.

Benefits You Can Reap By Eating Vegetables

February 9, 2021/in Blog

The new trend lately is getting healthy and feeling good about yourself. When it comes right down to it the best way to do that is going to be through exercise and healthy eating. It is not a healthy idea to think that diet pills and supplements will solve all over your problems. These pills hold no magic at all and will only take up your hard-earned money. Eating vegetables and living a healthy life is what will make a difference in your life.

There are so many ways that you can get healthy right now and most of them are very simple. We learned as children about the food pyramid and eating healthy. Instead of the vegetables, grains, and fruits that we need to eat each day, we typically eat a lot more sugars and fatty foods. We do not realize what fruits and vegetables have for us.

Natural sweeteners are flowing throughout all kinds of fruits and vegetables. The sweet taste that you find when you bit into an apple is a taste that is very healthy for us to enjoy. Why not put down the fatty bag of chips and choose a light salad before dinner or lunch? Making choices like these will help you get in shape and stay that way.

Eating vegetables these days has now become incredibly easy and convenient. It used to be the grab and go food was a bag of chips. Now we can easily see that grocery stores are carrying prepackaged and precut fruits and vegetables. This means for a few dollars we can just grab our lunch and go. The same goes for the prepackaged salads that we can now enjoy.

Keeping yourself regular is incredibly important. If you do not eat the right foods, you may find that you are a lot more constipated than most. This is because you are not getting enough fiber in your diet. Eating the right amount of vegetables every day is going to help you stay regular and stay healthy.

Millions of dollars are spent each year on fast food restaurants that only make you look and feel unhealthy. When you make the switch and start eating fresh fruits and vegetables you will have a fatter wallet. There is a lot more money that you can save when you decide to start eating healthy.

For the most part you can look at vegetables as a natural way to detoxify your body. There are various antioxidants that have been proven to keep your body up and running. Your immune system will be incredibly stronger, and you will wake up every morning feeling refreshed and ready for the day!

Why Aren’t You Seeing the Results You Want?

February 2, 2021/in Blog

A lot of people mistakenly believe that they need to have a highly complex training program with an elaborate list of supplements and an iron will in order to get into shape. This is why people will spend so much money on personal trainers, on gyms, on creatine, on protein shake and on programs like ‘Insanity Workout’.

But that should not be true. In reality, as long as you stick to a relatively decent training program and you are consistent, you should see results. Even if you are just doing a few push ups every night, this should be enough to bring about some positive change in your body. Could it be better? Sure. But it should be enough to do something.

So, if that’s what you’re doing, and your training is genuinely consistent… why aren’t you seeing any results? Well, there are a few reasons…

You’re Not Giving It Your All

The first and most likely reason here is that you aren’t giving your training enough effort. It is not enough to simply go through the motions when you lift weights or perform CV; you need to really push yourself and you need to work hard enough to feel the burn or the pump in your muscles and you need to feel the sweat forming on your body.

One big mistake you might be making then is leaving the TV on while you train! This can distract you from your workout and prevent you from really focusing on and engaging the muscles while you are lifting or moving.

The Rest of Your Life is the Problem

If you are training as hard as you possibly can and you just can’t seem to shift those last few pounds, then you might need to take a look at the rest of your training regime. What you will probably find is that you aren’t as active the rest of the time as you could be.

We are not designed to be largely stationary 24 hours a day and then to workout intensively for 30 minutes. If you really want to be healthy and fit, then you should be constantly moving or training. Look at your routine then and see where you could fit in more walks, more runs or perhaps an exercise class.

Your Hormones Are Getting in the Way

If you have the wrong hormone profile, then your body will be prone to burning fat and muscle for energy rather than storing it. That makes you an ectomorph. Or perhaps you are someone who stores fat very easily and can’t lose any weight.

This could be caused by some kind of medical condition. Speak with your doctor about the possibility that you might be suffering with low testosterone, hypothyroidism, or polycystic ovaries.

Even if you are not clinically ‘unwell’, it may still be the case that you have low testosterone, low T4, or poor insulin sensitivity. Luckily, there are normally things you can do about this situation. One of the best options is to train more regularly. Another is to eat more. Fix your hormones and you will make training much easier.
